"The Dackel Haus" came about because of my some would say "extreme passion" for this delightful little dog. We have two dackels of our own , both minis. The first is my little man "HENRY" , he is a cheeky rogue of a young fellow who never stops playing and entertaining us.
Our baby girl "Alice " is a gentle little soul who does in fact have a mind of her own!
Last year when we went on holidays we were so very fortunate to have a dear dachshund friend look after our lovable pair and it made me think about just how much we dachshund owners dread the thought of ever putting them into a "kennel".
Thus finally "The Dackel Haus" idea was born.
We are only able to take one dachshund or "family" of dachshunds at any one time as I think that is the fairest all round.
Your dachshund/s will be welcomed into our home and treated just as ours are .....which in some eyes my be a "little spoilt" but they are loved and treated as part of our family!
Cuddles and playtime are unlimited!! Walks are daily. Medications are not a problem . Access inside and outside to a large well fenced garden is via a doggy door.
The only thing you need to supply is your dachshunds food so that we don't have any difficulties with "change of diet".
Prices are $30 per day per dog or $50 per day for a "pair". Weekly and monthly rates are negotiable.
I am a finance broker who works from my home office so there is someone home 70-80% of the time. My partner is a school teacher who works close by. We have two girls 50% of the time who are 17 and 23 and they absolutely adore our "sausage family"
We already have our first bookings for 2014 so be sure to get in early.
We encourage a "social visit" for a cuppa and a chat some time before your dackel stays to ensure everyone is happy.
All dogs must be vaccinated, wormed and be treated with preventative flea control .
